THE RAFT
A wanderer arrived at a river that was too deep to wade through.
Since he could not swim, he built a raft and crossed the river on it.
He thought the raft was useful, he might need it again some day. So
he carried it on his shoulders for the rest of his life, even though
he never had an opportunity to use it again.
(We often carry baggage from the past in our mind that we no
longer need).
