Mysterious Cigar & Famous Lawyer

By Dr.Claude Shema-Rutagengwa
A criminal defense lawyer was famous for winning all his
cases.  His trick was that each time the prosecutor began to make
his exposition, he lit a cigar.  After a while, the members of
the jury were watching when the ash would fall from the cigar.
The ash was sticking out longer and longer, and everyone's eyes
were glued to the end of the cigar, curious how long it would
hold up.  Nobody paid attention to anything the prosecutor said.
The ash did not fall because the lawyer used to put a wire into
his cigar.
