Cancer vs. Alzheimer's Disease

An elderly man went to the doctor for his annual checkup. After examining him, the doctor said, "I have two items of bad news for you. The first is that you have cancer."

The patient asked, "And what is the second bad news?"

The doctor said, "You have Alzheimer's disease."

The man said, "It could be worse, I could have cancer."
