Purpose

The reasons I am writing [this] are many. I come from a long line of writers, my father being a journalist, and my great aunt a published author of 3 books of poetry, which were way before her time. Also, recently I encountered the last of my communication with my sister and so this portion is closed. Although the story is sad in many ways, it is also humorous. All my whole life, people have told me I should write a book, why not start now?
