Mystery of Creation¨2. 10. The forces of nature are active in their own way. The dynamics they create are not necessarily harmful; rather, they add to the variety and beauty of life on earth.

7:57. And He it is Who sends the winds as tidings heralding His mercy, till, when they bear a cloud heavy (with rain), We lead it to a dead land, and then cause water to descend thereon and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind. Thus bring We forth the dead. Haply you may remember.

24:43. Have you not seen how Allah wafts the clouds, then gathers them, then makes them layers, and you see the rain come forth from between them; He sends down from the heaven mountains wherein is hail, and smites therewith whom He will, and averts it from whom He will. The flashing of His lightning all but snatches away the sight.

30:48. Allah is He Who sends the winds so that they raise clouds, and spreads them along the sky as pleases Him, and causes them to break and you see the rain showering from within them. And when He makes it to fall on whom He will of His bondmen, lo! they rejoice;

42:28. And He it is Who sends down the saving rain after they have despaired, and spreads out His mercy. He is the Protecting Friend, the Praiseworthy.
