Eunice Yuen

Eunice Yuen was born in Hong Kong and came to the U.S .whensixteen years old. She received her B.S. in Rehabilitation Science (2002) and Ph.D. in Neuroscience (2006) from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her research focuses on the biological basis of neuronal transmission, which is implicated in physiological process like learning and memory, as well as in psychiatric diseases such as Depression and Anxiety. Results from these studies aim to shed light on identifying potential drug targets of antidepressant and better understanding of the disease.Since graduate students, Eunice has been publishing scientific journal articles and book chapters in the field of Neuroscience. These findings have been recognized for several awards, including Dean Travel Awards for attending national conferences (2004 and 2005), Dean Award for outstanding dissertation research (2006) and Young Investigator Award from National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression (2007).
