Valerie Bradley-Holliday


I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have a Ph.D.

My doctorate degree is from The Union Institute and University, a distance-learning program in Cincinnati , Ohio . My specialization is Social Psychology. I also have a Master of Social Work Degree from Wayne State University .

I live and work in Marquette , Michigan as an Online Faculty. My experiences of teaching are in the areas of Statistics, Human Motivation, Social Work, History and Systems of psychology, Research Design, Business Communication, and most recently Effective Essay Writing. I have a husband, three sons and two dogs.

Other than my dissertation, I have a published book, Places to Be Blessed. I have another book, Northern Roots, which will be published this year. My first love has always been short stories and journal writing. I write like some people eat popcorn. My varying interests include: art, singing, gardening, beading, dancing and reading. I am currently trying to teach myself how to play the piano. My motto is to keep your interests alive and continue to look for forms of self-expression—my favorite is writing!
