Interested in death news

She was an elderly Norwegian lady called Åse, 92 years old, who lived in north west Norway. She liked to go to her post box early every single morning to pick up newspapers. Curiously, her first interest was to read the page of death announcements, even though that page was almost at the end of the newspaper.

When she was asked why, she said…

"I simply want to know how many of my age passed away, so that I can count how many days of my life are left."

Don’t we also care for that ?
